Alexandra Betancourt AIA, CAAPR
Registered Architect in Puerto Rico with 14 years of experience providing services for projects of various scales from the design phase through construction completion. Projects include large scale Municipal buildings and parks, commercial buildings and private design projects. Experienced in Historic Preservation Projects, including Construction Documents and Construction administration, as inspections for compliance with federal historic standards.
Mrs. Betancourt was also part of the team of designers responsible for Muelle 3 and contributed into the Construction Documents Phase of Muelle Panamericano I & II.
Carlos Martínez Assoc. AIA, CAAPR
Mr. Carlos Martínez received his architectural and marketing education from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He is the founder of 376 DC, a multidiscipline design consulting studio that integrates architectural thinking and brand identity processes. Mr Martinez works in project planning and strives making environments that better organize people, property, and business practices. As a designer, he has been responsible for conceptualizing designs, inspection and construction administration of a variety projects. Throughout the last years, he has collaborated with real estate developers, international brands, institutional entities and government agencies.
Bienvenido Pichardo RA, LEED AP, PA GPI
Registered Architect in Puerto Rico with 18 years of experience providing services in construction contract administration, quality control, code compliance, Fire Safety & Environmental Health inspections and facility safety assessment. Responsible for capital projects for BPPR. Design team leader for high-rise buildings at Sagrado Corazón train station.
Vast experience in construction inspection, scheduling, managing and monitoring work progress. Mr. Pichardo is a member of OGPE Building Codes Revision Board and a certified Green Permit Inspector (GPI).
Maritere Rovira CAAPR
Graduated from Louisiana State University with a professional degree in Architecture. Mrs. Rovira has vast experience in interiors and furniture design-build, with projects located in many of the major hotels in the island, including AC Marriot, Condado Plaza and Ritz Carlton. Collaborated in design projects like La Ventana al Mar in Condado and Parque Luis Muñoz Rivera.
Experience in project management and post-disaster building safety evaluation. Developed complete field assessments of damages caused by Hurricane Maria for El San Juan Hotel, and Intercontinental Hotel.
Gerardo Torres Assoc. AIA, CAAPR
Graduated from University of Puerto Rico with Master’s degree in Architecture and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design with a minor in Office Systems and certified in Business Communications. Has experience in Construction and Quality Control Inspections, ranging from civil design, residences to commercial, hospitality and health institutions. Gerardo has worked with post-disaster insurance claim reports for residential and commercial buildings. Has a wide experience in 3D modeling and rendering programs. His works have been featured in projects such as Ritz-Carlton, Intercontinental Hotel, El San Juan Hotel, Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn, among others.
Luis Alfredo Maldonado
Licenced draftsman since 1994, Luis Alfredo has vast experience in architectural drawings, dominating programs such as AutoCad, Revit, Photoshop and SketchUp among others. In addition to his professional education in drafting, he also has a major in interior design. He works on all phases of design, up to developing final construction documents and providing support through construction administration. Mr. Maldonado has worked with prominent architecture and engineering firms throughout his career, making him a great asset for our team.
